Faithful watchers of Toronto FC II will have noticed how short the bench was last night away to FC Tucson. In part, that was because a number of players were in Texas ahead of the start of two of the biggest events on the youth calendar this weekend.
Toronto FC has five academy sides in competition this week in Texas at both the Generation Adidas Cup and the Dallas Cup.
U-17 (2002) and U-15 (2004) sides will play in the GA Cup.
The U-17s were draw in Group B in the Champions Division alongside CA Penarol, GNK Dinamo Zagreb, and the LA Galaxy.
