Chargers QB Philip Rivers scuffles in tough road loss to Raiders

OAKLAND, Calif. -- With his team needing a win, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers picked a bad time to have his worst game of the season.

Playing for the final time at the Oakland Coliseum, Rivers threw three interceptions, including one to Oakland Raiders safety Karl Joseph on his team's final play of the game, leading to a 26-24 setback Thursday.

With the loss, the Chargers dropped to 4-6 and are on the outside looking in as far as the playoff conversation goes. It's the first time Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn has lost to the Raiders during his tenure with the Bolts.
