Canadian Women to Play Netherlands in April Friendly Ahead of Rio 2016 Olympics

Another week and another friendly announced. The Canadian Soccer Association released that the Women's National team will travel to Eindhoven in the Netherlands for a friendly against the Dutch national side on April 10.

The eleventh ranked Canadians will play the twelfth ranked Dutch in what will be Canada's first non-competitive game since their friendly against England prior to the Women's World Cup last summer. In that time the women have played in the Women's World Cup, Olympic Qualifying, the Algarve Cup and the International Tournament of Natal. This will give coach John Herdman the chance to experiment with Canada's roster and help to prepare them for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil this August.
