MONTREAL—When Toronto FC supporters groups travel to Montreal, the itinerary is set in stone.
First, they meet at their respective home-away-from-home pubs. Then the groups hop on the subway for what U-Sector member John Bruce says is always “a pretty fun metro ride” full of singing, jumping and chanting.
At a subway stop near the stadium, fans are greeted by security and police for a march to the venue, an attempt to get the bulk of the Reds fans in the stadium at the same time.
