George Springer set the tone for the Toronto Blue Jays right out of the gates when the calendar flipped to July. His performance on Canada Day against the New York Yankees could be looked at as a pivitol turning point for the Blue Jays in 2025. The 35-year-old hit two home runs and drove in seven runs in a 12-5 win over division rivals New York.

Springer had a massive series overall against the Yankees as the Blue Jays overtook the Bronx Bombers in the standings and haven't looked back since. He hit four home runs, drove in 11 runs and got the Blue Jays on a roll that would take them right to the top of the American League.
