Toronto Blue Jays: Week in Review (Aug 26-Sept 1)

The start of the week brought a two-game split with the second-best team in the National League, the Atlanta Braves. We got to see the return of Josh Donaldson, a strong bullpen game, and the kids show simple baseball can win games as Bo Bichete, Cavan Biggio and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. helped take the lead with three straight singles to start the game.

In the Houston series we saw Biggio continue to show his maturity and improvement at the plate, Clay Buchholtz turn back time, and what is forgotten in the Verlander no-hitter is the Jays bullpen held the Astros to just three hits through eight innings on one walk and eight strikeouts.
