This George Springer is the one the Blue Jays have waited for

Making the 2020 Postseason helped the Toronto Blue Jays become a free agent destination for players with a young Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette on the roster. During that off-season, the Blue Jays signed former Houston Astros superstar George Springer to a six-year contract.

During his time in Houston, Springer became an Astro legend in just seven seasons. He made the All-Star Game three times, won two Silver Sluggers, helped the Astros win two AL Pennants and won the 2017 World Series MVP. In 2019, Springer set two career highs with 39 home runs and 96 RBI's.
