Alek Manoah hasn't pitched in the big leagues in over a year. May 29 2024 was the last time the hulking right-hander threw a ball in a MLB contest for the Toronto Blue Jays. It was that day when he lasted just 1.2 innings on the mound before he was removed due to an injury that has kept him sidelined every since.
But throughout the 2024 offseason and into the beginning of 2025, there was a goal line in sight for the 27-year-old former first round draft pick. The goal was to get back to pitching for the Blue Jays before the end of 2025.
