For the first time in 22 years, the banners atop the rafters at the Rogers Centre will finally get some company.
Thanks to this above photo by Steve Russell from the Toronto Star, there is now a discernible gap in between the existing banners at the Rogers Centre. Oddly enough, the gap is just big enough to fit an "2015 A.L. East Champs" banner.
Nothing has been confirmed by way of the team just yet, but this would indicate that the Blue Jays will unveil their brand new banner in the pre-game ceremony of Game 1 of the ALDS on Thursday afternoon in Toronto.
