Nate Pearson allowed a home run, a double and two walks, leading to two runs over six innings against the Nationals affiliate. He struck out three and threw 85 pitches, 51 for strikes. Hobie Harris worked a one-hit seventh and Kirby Snead struck out two in a shutout eighth.
George Springer had just one of the two Bisons hits, going 1-for-4 as the designated hitter. Christian Colón had the other base knock.
