Stroman exits early due to lingering blister

TORONTO -- Marcus Stroman was forced to leave Sunday afternoon's start at Rogers Centre against the Rays after five innings because of a lingering blister issue on his right middle finger.

Stroman allowed one run on five hits before he was taken out of the game. He was spotted looking at his finger throughout the fifth inning, and a close-up during a broadcast on Sportsnet also showed the blister, which appeared to have popped open.
