Sanchez exits after 1 inning with apparent injury

ANAHEIM -- Blue Jays right-hander Aaron Sanchez was removed after one inning during Thursday night's game against the Angels because of an apparent injury.

Sanchez allowed two runs on a pair of hits and a walk while throwing 25 pitches. It was not immediately clear what happened to Sanchez, but Joe Biagini started warming up toward the end of the first, which was an unusual sign.

Sanchez was seen on TV replays looking at his finger following an RBI single by Albert Pujols.
