ARLINGTON -- The Blue Jays acquired veteran left fielder Ben Revere from the Phillies last month primarily for his defence, and he showed everybody why with a sensational catch during the third inning of Wednesday's game against the Rangers.
Revere made a leaping catch at the wall to take an extra-base hit from Texas leadoff man Delino DeShields. The highlight-reel play was pivotal in helping ace David Price get out of the inning without any runs, as Shin-Soo Choo followed with a single to left.
