Pawtucket, RI - The damage was done early against Scott Diamond (9-15, 4.50) as he surrendered a walk, a hit by pitch and a home run to the first three Red Sox hitters in the first as the Bisons ended their season on a losing note. Diamond gave up four runs on six hits, two walks and a plunk over five innings while striking out four. John Stilson struck out one in a one-hit sixth and Chad Girodo whiffed one in a scoreless seventh.
