A Nash Knight three-run home run in the second inning looked like it would be enough but the Nationals affiliate rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the late innings to down the Bisons in Trenton, New Jersey. Knight also drew two walks. Buffalo was a woeful 2-for-17 with runners in scoring position, leaving 11 men on base.
Forrest Wall, Tyler White and Logan Warmoth all had two hits apiece.
