Dunedin, FL - Maximo Castillo (1-3, 5.03) coughed up two third-inning runs but put up zeros in his other four frames. The Braves got three hits and a walk against Castillo and struck out twice. Mitch McKown was torched for a three-run home run, giving up another hit, hitting a batter and walking two in the sixth. Orlando Pascual gave up a double but nothing more, punching out three over two innings. Richard Reina got through the ninth without incident.
