The Kansas City Royals are the first visitors to the Rogers Centre since Clay Buchholz beat Blake Snell to end his MLB career on a high note. Gosh, it was almost six years ago when the young Royals defeated the veteran Blue Jays in the 2015 ALCS (as opposed to 1985, when the veteran Royals beat the young Blue Jays.) No one from that 2015 Blue Jays team is on the current roster, but Salvador Perez is still catching for the Royals and Greg Holland has returned to the bullpen.
