Hyped offseason addition is unexpectedly haunting the Blue Jays' draft plans

After missing these last few months, Anthony Santander has been looking like a failed signing from last offseason. He got off to a really bad start before hitting the injured list with shoulder inflammation. His production on the field was obvioulsy not cutting his big contract, but now all of a sudden it hurts harder now that he is limiting the Blue Jays' draft plans.

Unexpectedly, signing Santander took Toronto out of the second round for draft class. For a guy with a 63 wRC+, losing a second round pick from the signing really hurts. There are a variety of reasons as to why this hurts.
