BALTIMORE - After just one official rehab game with the Dunedin Blue Jays and a handful of at-bats in extended spring training, Troy Tulowitzki declared himself ready to return to the big leagues Saturday.
Tulowitzki was reinstated from the disabled list after recovering from a quad muscle strain and was in the starting lineup at shortstop and batting sixth against the Orioles.
"I do feel good," Tulowitzki said. "I played in a high-A game two nights ago, ran the bases, tested it. Worked hard down there. I feel good and I know these guys have been playing well so I'd just like to fit right in and keep this hot streak going.
