Even Troy Tulowitzki unsure of close call at second base

TORONTO - Troy Tulowitzki had the best seat in the house, but even he couldn’t make the call.

Did he or didn’t he make the tag on Rougned Odor at second base with two out in the 14th? Second base ump Marvin Hudson called Odor safe, but the Jays thought otherwise. One replay angle appeared to show that Odor’s foot momentarily came off the bag with Tulowitzki applying the tag.

There was not enough video evidence for officials in New York, however, to reverse the call and the original safe call was upheld.

Shortly after, the Rangers scored two go-ahead runs and now the Jays season hangs by a thread.
