The game was tied at 1-1 after three innings before things went horribly askew for the Herd. Sean Reid-Foley left after four-plus innings due to a back/side strain according to John Lott. Reid-Foley gave up a home run among his five runs but two of the runs were unearned after his own throwing error. Buddy Boshers gave up a run in two innings, Corey Copping was cuffed for five in his one inning and Kirby Snead was slapped around for four more runs (three earned) in one frame.
