DETROIT - The fact that Blue Jays pitcher Drew Hutchison had yet another miserable start on the road Friday -- 4.2 innings, 10 hits, seven runs allowed, five of them earned -- was one of the topics of discussion in the pre-game chat with Jays manager John Gibbons.
Before the game Friday, Hutchison's brutal road record -- he's 2-1 with a 9.00 ERA in nine road games -- was discussed and Gibbons backed him by saying: "He's too good for this to continue." But as the game Friday showed, the misery continued, so is Gibbons concerned?
