Chris Rowley was roughed up for five runs over five innings on seven hits and three walks while whiffing three. Conor Fisk pitched two scoreless frames and Justin Shafer added another. Craig Breslow gave up a home run and struck out a batter in his one inning of work.
Reese McGuire had two hits while Dwight Smith Jr., Tim Lopes and Roemon Fields had the other base knocks with Smith knocking in a run.
