"Mad Max" may have made his last appearance on an MLB mound. The future Hall of Famer was given the chance to start Game 3 of the World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays against one of his former teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

On Monday night in LA Scherzer wasn't his vintage self, but was good enough to leave what could be his last MLB start with a two-run lead.

Scherzer didn't have his best stuff, although his fastball was buzzing and velocity was the best it's been in five years.
