C's Come Up Huge In The "Euge"

The Vancouver Canadians won the rubber match of their five-game set in Eugene. The other affiliates went 0-3. New Hampshire and Lansing had the night off.

Brett Oberholtzer was blitzed for six runs on 11 hits in just 2-1/3 innings. Chris Rowley soaked up 4-2/3 innings and gave up just one run despite six hits and three walks. He struck out five and stranded two inherited runners in his Triple-A debut. Wil Browning pitched a scoreless eighth.

The bottom half of the order had all four hits including a hit apiece from Christian Lopes, Roemon Fields and Ian Parmley with Lopes drawing a walk.
