TORONTO - For more than a month now, Chris Colabello has put on a brave face, letting hardly anyone know that his world, his story and maybe his baseball career was crumbling.
He talked to me about the excitement of opening day. He talked about what it is was like to be a hitter who came from almost nowhere in a clubhouse full of genuine baseball stars. He talked about always believing in himself and what it was like to live a dream.
He talked about finally finding a home in the major leagues.
