The Herd racked up five runs in the second and one more in the fourth to build a 6-0 lead and it was enough to beat the Rays affiliate. Jesus Montero and Alexi Casilla had two hits apiece. Domonic Brown, Junior Lake, David Adams and Tony Sanchez all had one hit and one walk. Adams also stole a base.
Roberto Hernandez (3-2, 4.44) pitched 6-1/3 innings of three-run ball, giving up a home run and five other hits.
