Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has nothing left to prove in Double-A and is obviously not being challenged by the looks of his video game-like numbers he continues to produce. The phenom is batting .414/.464/.691 with 79 hits and 11 home runs in 49 games with the New Hampshire Fishercats.
While the baseball world begs for his promotion to the majors, a more obvious question arises of why Vladdy Jr. remains in Double-A instead of taking his talents for a stopover in Buffalo with the herd.
The Blue Jays keep balking about being well-rounded in every facet of the game however it is very apparent they are delaying his MLB clock, which I can’t necessarily argue with.
