Blue Jays welcome surging White Sox: Full preview

Despite the weekend drama surrounding the suspension of Chris Colabello, the Blue Jays took the final two games of a three-game set against the Oakland Athletics and find themselves back at .500 (10-10).

This past weekend’s series is also more indicative of how Toronto’s season is expected to go: pitching that is reliable with the odd blip, carried by an excellent offence. The Jays put up run totals of five, nine, and six against the Athletics, with Saturday’s win representing a season high.

It won’t get easier from here, though, as the Blue Jays welcome the 13-6 Chicago White Sox to town, who sit in first place in the American League Central with a 13-6 record.
