Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. goes yard for Buffalo Bisons

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. connected for three hits including his first Triple-A home run pacing the Bisons offence to a 6-1 victory over the Gwinnett Stripers at Coca-Cola Field. The 19-year old is batting .455/.581/.682 with 10 hits and 8 walks in his first eight games with the herd.

Vladdy began the three-hit affair by doubling in his first at-bat and then aggressively taking advantage of a miscue by the right fielder who slipped while attempting to field the ball. Guerrero slid around the second baseman to avoid the tag and put himself into scoring position.

In his second at-bat, the phenom would make history by crushing a 2-0 offering from Kyle Wright over the centrefield wall for his first Triple-A round-tripper.
