Blue Jays veteran will have a connection to the Hockey Hall of Fame

Since first playing in MLB with the Houston Astros in 2014, George Springer put together a solid career. Springer has made the All-Star Game four times, won two Silver Sluggers and took home the 2017 World Series MVP. Since 2021, he has become a fan favourite as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Blue Jays fans have been drawn to not just his play on the field, with 2025 arguably the best season of his career, but also to his infectious energy and the "vibes" he brings to the whole clubhouse culture. Now at 36 years old, Springer's popularity in not only Toronto, but his home state of Connecticut will have a connection to the Hockey Hall of Fame, which ironically is in Toronto as well.
