The Blue Jays went into July needing some help in the bullpen given the up and down struggles with the pitching corps as well as some injuries to key members early in the season like Julian Merryweather, Kirby Yates, and David Phelps.

Ross Atkins first acquired Adam Cimber and Trevor Richards early in the month before trading for Brad Hand and Joakim Soria at the trade deadline to help solidify the pen.
