According to Baseball America, the Blue Jays have reached an agreement on a minor-league pact with the journeyman outfielder. Gabby Guerrero is also cousins with third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and will presumably be a minor-league depth piece in Triple-A.
Guerrero signed as an International free-agent with the Seattle Mariners back in 2011 as a 17-year old. The outfielder had a 14-game cup of coffee in the majors with the Cincinnati Reds in 2018 hitting .167 with three hits including a homer in 18 plate appearances.
The native of the Dominican Republic was a once touted prospect playing in the minor-league Futures Game in 2014.
