Sean Reid-Foley has struggled with control issues in a couple of cups of coffee with the Blue Jays over the past two seasons. The hurler sports a 5.60 earned run average in eight MLB starts, the inflated stat line also includes 23 free passes in 35.1 innings on the bump.
The 23-year old has only made one start this season with the Blue Jays and stumbled out of the gate with the Bisons to begin the campaign. However, Reid-Foley appears to have weathered the storm and has been pitching much better of late.
With the recent struggles of Edwin Jackson and Clayton Richard, the young hurler may get a shot at a redemption tour sooner than later.
