As if Sunday wasn’t crazy enough thanks to the trades of Eric Sogard and Marcus Stroman, the Blue Jays have likely made another move, albeit of much lesser importance.
According to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet, the Blue Jays are “reassigning major-league field co-ordinator” Shelley Duncan.
Though Davidi (nor Sportsnet colleague Ben Nicholson-Smith, who Davidi tagged in the tweet), offered no additional details beyond the initial report, many have speculated that this has something to do with the “commotion” that “could be heard” outside the Blue Jays clubhouse after Sunday’s game.
