Blue Jays sign Dasan Brown
According to Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi, the Blue Jays have signed Oakville, Ont. native Dasan Brown, who was the team’s third-round pick in this year’s draft, for $800,000. Brown, 17, was selected out of Abbey Park High School in Oakville and has been lauded by draft evaluators for his athleticism and speed.
Daniel Hudson stellar as of late
Blue Jays reliever Daniel Hudson, who signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the team in March, has been fantastic out of the bullpen over his last 11 appearances.
