Blue Jays: Pompey and Tellez fail to make Top 10

Dalton Pompey and Rowdy Tellez who once were regarded as integral pieces of the Blue Jays future plans were omitted from the most recent rankings. Pompey missed most of 2017 after suffering a concussion at the World Baseball Classic Tourney representing Canada. The 25-year old then injured his leg in a rehab game, all told Pompey only suited up for 13 minor league games last season. Pompey is undoubtedly nearing the age where he may longer qualify as a prospect as the Canadian is on the downside to thirty.

Tellez was nearly anointed the starting the first baseman out of spring training last season before the resurgence of Justin Smoak.
