The Toronto Blue Jays have officially recalled Drew Hutchison from the triple-A Buffalo Bisons ahead of his Sunday start. To make room for Hutchison, Toronto optioned left-handed relief pitcher Chad Girodo who was recalled following the suspension of Chris Colabello. Girodo looked very strong in his lone outing on Friday against the Athletics, pitching two innings of relief and allowing just one hit. He also forced four ground ball outs, and should be next in line should the Blue Jays need a lefty arm.
