Blue Jays MiLB Report: A tough night for pitchers

Jesus Montero hit his team-leading seventh home run of the season as part of a 3-for-5 night that included three RBIs. The top of the lineup was hot, with Dalton Pompey going 3-for-5 out of the leadoff spot with three runs scored. Domonic Brown was also 3-for-5 hitting second in the order, driving in three himself. Shortstop Alexi Casilla was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, bringing his average up to .270.

Roberto Hernandez got the start for Buffalo but could not find his control, walking five batters in four and two thirds innings (three earned runs against).
