Cesar Valdez had it going on Thursday night, making his 5th start of the season for the Bisons. He ended up throwing seven innings, allowing one run on four hits and two walks, striking out 10 hitters in the outing.
Gregorio Petit had the big blow for the Bisons, hitting a 3 run blast in the 3rd inning to give the Bisons a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. Petit also picked up another RBI in the 5th inning on a sacrifice fly.
The Bisons will begin a new series with the Scranton RailRiders, with Luis Santos getting the ball in a game that gets underway at 7:05 EST.
