Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman won big well before earning a $1.8 million signing bonus back in 2012.
At six years old, Stroman appeared on the TV show Figure It Out.
Nickelodeon cameras turned to Stroman midway through the opening segment after the Long Island, N.Y., native was chosen to participate as a lucky audience member.
He eventually won $100 in Toys “R” Us money.
Nearly two decades later, Stroman is expected to play a big role when the Blue Jays pursue another American League East title in 2016.
Stroman, 24, finished last season with a 4-0 mark after returning late in the year from an ACL injury.
