According to Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet, Devon Travis (knee) “hasn’t started baseball activities” yet, and that even Charlie Montoyo is “unsure” as to whether or not Travis could return this year. Now 28, the West Palm Beach, Florida native was placed on the 60-day IL on March 25.
Ryan Tepera
Reliever Ryan Tepera (elbow) is “currently on a throwing program in Florida” after undergoing minor elbow surgery on May 29, per Sportsnet’s Arden Zwelling. Tepera, will, according to Zwelling, “begin long toss next week”.
