With the recent disheartening injury updates to some of the current Toronto Blue Jays players, they have finally received some good news for one of their key players on the roster. Gold Glove outfielder Daulton Varsho could be inching closer to his return pretty soon.
According to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet, after playing four innings in the outfield for the Jays Single-A affiliate Dunedin on Friday, Varsho will continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A Buffalo next week. He looked good so far after recording his first hit in his rehab assignment against the Tampa Tarpons.
