According to an official team release, the Blue Jays have designated RHP Neil Ramirez for assignment.
As a corresponding move, the team has reinstated RHP Ryan Tepera from the 60-day injured list. The release adds that he will be active for Sunday’s game against Houston.
Previously, it had been reported by Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet that the team would be reinstating Tepera when rosters expanded on September 1.
Ramirez, 30, was signed to a minor-league deal on August 6 after being released by the Cleveland Indians just four days earlier.
