In a response to the Joakim Soria acquisition earlier in the day, the Blue Jays have subsequently handed Jonathan Davis his “Designated For Assignment” Notice.
The Jays designated Tyler Chatwood for assignment earlier in the day to make room for Jose Berrios. While Chatwood makes a ton of sense as he has struggled as of late, Davis comes to me as a little bit of a surprise.
