Blue Jays: Dalton Pompey diagnosed with his third concussion

The Blue Jays outfielder was slated to be in the lineup yesterday versus the Philadelphia Phillies, however, he bumped his head on some bats above his locker and was scratched from the contest.

Dalton Pompey has a long history of concussion problems having suffered one in 2016 crashing into a wall and a second in 2017 sliding into second base during the World Baseball Classic. The injury could not come at a worse time for Pompey as the out of options outfielder is fighting for his baseball life this spring to remain in the organization.
