Blue Jays claim pitcher Ryan Dull off waivers from Yankees

The Blue Jays added Ryan Dull in an attempt to bolster their bullpen following the recent injury to pitcher Tim Mayza. The reliever began the 2019 campaign with the Oakland Athletics making seven relief appearances before being designated for assignment in August.

The 29-year old was initially claimed by the San Francisco Giants, however, his Giants career was short-lived lasting just 11 days before Dull was snatched up by the Yankees. The reliever made three appearances for New York surrendering five earned runs in 2.1 innings of work with the Bronx Bombers.
