Bats Are Booming & McBrooming

The affiliates had a winning Friday night by taking three out of five. They were 0-2 against Yankees farm clubs and 3-0 against everyone else.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 2 Buffalo 0

Moosic, PA - A quality start by Chad Jenkins (8-6, 2.98) was not enough to subdue the Yankees affiliate. He was nicked for single runs in the fourth and fifth and allowed just a baserunner an inning on three hits, two walks and a hit by pitch. He struck out two and produced nine outs on the ground over six innings. Chad Girodo worked a perfect seventh with a strikeout and Steve Delabar had a shutout eighth despite a pair of walks, one on purpsoe.
