TORONTO - For the Cleveland Indians, Game 3 of the American League Championship series started as a bloody mess.
Starting pitcher Trevor Bauer, who injured himself last Thursday messing around with one of the 10 drones he owns, left before the bottom of the first was complete.
The cut on the pinky finger of Bauer’s throwing hand could be seen openly bleeding as he faced the top of the Blue Jays batting order. After issuing a second walk to Blue Jays second baseman Troy Tulowitzki, Jays manager John Gibbons asked home plate umpire Brian Gorman to check out the situation.
