The trade deadline should once again be an exciting time for the Toronto Blue Jays this season. After a forgettable 2024 campaign in which they finished dead last in the American League East, they have bounced back nicely this year in resurrecting themselves back into contention status.
To beef up their roster heading into the stretch run, the Blue Jays will likely need to part ways with some top prospects in order to get any quality deals done. However, at the same time, they shouldn’t sacrifice too much of the future in the process if they intend to build sustainable success for years to come.
